Queen Anne Work Loft

Firm:
Stricker Cato Murphy Architects, P.S.

Transform a vacant, difficult to develop parcel with access constraints into a vibrant, creative space for artists and entrepreneurs so they may grow and interact by sharing experiences and resources.

This is an unusual, contextually isolated site, with unusual topography, vegetation and views. We have chosen to site this building so that the views and access to natural light are optimized.

This is a relatively new building type in the urban environment. It combines residential dwellings, with four levels of “work lofts”. Each space will have access to natural light, ventilation, and common spaces including conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms and shower facilities.
