Designed for a professional retired couple, the transformation of this 15th floor condo was driven by three main concepts: LIGHT, VIEW, & MATERIAL. Clean / crisp materials capture and respond to the ever changing day lighting offered by glazing along the West Elevation. A limited primary material palate of 'champagne' anodized aluminum and frosted glass cabinetry with Tasmanian oak hardwood flooring / paneling provide a rich non-competing foreground for the tremendous views offered over Stanley Park and English Bay. Interior cast glass partitions and interior 'windows' allow daylight into previously dark corridors and bathrooms.
