Project Location:            Seattle, WA
Gross Square Footage :         40,000-sf

Project Parameters:          24 apartment units and three levels of commercial space, with multiple connections to the recently renovated Piston & Ring Building, which occupies the same property.                 Budget dictated that the building be built as five-stories of wood-frame construction over one story of concrete construction, per the Seattle Building Code.

Project Goals:            To create a building that sits comfortably among its gritty, industrial neighbors, but is clean, modern and forward-looking. The building should embrace and contribute to the vibrant street activity that characterizes the neighborhood.
