Lake House

Firm:
Hutchison & Maul

1. The client requested two conflicting program elements - guest/retreat space and family/active space - as close to the Lake as code would allow. 2. The client requested lake access from the main residence located up the hillside. 3. The client requested water-sports storage and a changing/bathing room as part of the family/active space. 4. The client requested that the guest/retreat spaces feel private even when people occupy the family/active space. 5. Capitalizing on the view was a given.
